UA’s faculty are dedicated mentors whose work shapes the paths of their graduate students across many disciplines. Over 80% of our faculty hold terminal degrees, and many have won national awards, in fields ranging from nanoscience and engineering to biological sciences. Our Carnegie Research 1 classification for “very high research activity” places us among the nation’s top innovators in fields such as STEM, business, healthcare, social work and communications.
Our research centers and institutes, sophisticated research facilities, entrepreneurship incubator and exciting engineering discoveries are only the few of the areas of excellence that draw top faculty and graduate students to UA.
Through this website you will find over 150 master’s and doctoral programs that challenge and elevate our students. On top of that, our mentoring and student-led programs support success for students from all backgrounds and from around the world, in addition to connecting UA’s faculty to best practices nationally and globally.
