Please carefully review the appropriate application types and their instructions before submitting your application.
 
  Application Type Description Application Instructions for:
1.
Graduate Degree
 Application for a graduate degree program, including graduate programs at the Gadsden Center. View graduate degree programs offered at the University of Alabama. U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents International Students
2. Bachelor's to Master's/Doctoral: within same program If you are a currently enrolled senior at The University of Alabama and wish to apply for Master's or Doctoral study in the same department or area, then you may be eligible to use this form. U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents International Students
3. Master's to Doctoral Program: within the Same Graduate Program If you are currently enrolled in a Master's program at The University of Alabama and wish to apply for Ed.S. or Doctoral study in the same department or area, then you may be able to use this form. U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents International Students
4.
Non-Degree
 Application for admission into a non-degree graduate program. U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents International Students
5. Non-Degree: for previously enrolled UA Graduate Student Please use this form if you were previously enrolled in a graduate degree seeking program at UA and wish to apply as a non-degree student. U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents International Students
6. Currently or Previously Enrolled UA Graduate Student: Graduate Degree Please use this form if you are currently or previously enrolled in a graduate level program at the University of Alabama and you are either:
  1. currently or previously enrolled in a graduate degree-seeking program and wish to apply to a different degree-seeking program. Or,
  2. you are currently or previously enrolled in a graduate non degree-seeking program and wish to apply to a degree-seeking program
 U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents International Students
7. Graduate Degree: Distance Learning Application for a graduate degree program offered through Distance Learning. If you are applying to a program at the Gadsden Center, use the application type #1 above. U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents International Students
8. Non-Degree: Distance Learning Application for admission into a non-degree program offered through Distance Learning. U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents International Students
