About the Graduate Council
The Graduate Council formulates graduate policy. It develops and recommends necessary rules, regulations, policies, and guidelines that govern academic programs leading to advanced degrees. This body also recommends admission, retention, and graduation requirements for graduate students. The Dean of the Graduate School is ex officio chairperson of the Council and is responsible for the administration of the regulations and requirements for advanced degrees.
