The Graduate School is pleased to announce the 2009 recipient of the Last Lecture Award to Dr. Utz McKnight, Assistant Professor of Political Science. Dr. McKnight delivered the lecture entitled, “Why Apologize for What We Do?”. A reception honoring Dr. McKnight followed the lecture. Before coming to Alabama, he was a visiting professor in African American Studies at U.C. Berkeley. He lectures on problems in social theory and politics.
