14. Academic Common Market of the Southern Regional Education Board

The Academic Common Market (ACM) of the Southern Regional Education Board enables Southern states, which today include Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia, to share undergraduate and graduate academic programs and thereby avoid costly duplication. Students participating in ACM programs remain out-of-state residents, but pay in-state tuition rates.

Information about the ACM, including a list of programs available at UA can be found at: http://acm.ua.edu
