TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The University of Alabama Graduate
School will conduct a Graduate School Preview Day on
Thursday, Sept. 26, at 3 p.m. in the Ferguson Center Theater on
campus. The purpose of this event is to provide information to
undergraduate students and other prospective graduate students
who are interested in pursuing a graduate degree at UA.
Representatives from the various programs offered at UA will
be present to answer questions about graduate study in their
colleges. Also, The Kaplan Education Center will be on hand to
provide students the opportunity to take a free practice test
for the GRE, GMAT or LSAT.
Students who are interested in attending this event and
taking the free practice test should call the Graduate School at
205/348-5922, or the Kaplan Education Center at 1-800 KAP-TEST
(1-800-527-8378) to make reservations.
Events include:
3-4 p.m. -- Applying to Graduate School: The Application
Process, Ferguson Theater.
4:15 p.m.-5 p.m. -- Breakout sessions -- Assistant and
Associate Deans, Graduate Program Directors, or Other College
Representatives Talk about Graduate Study in the Various
Colleges.
5-5:30 p.m. -- Reception in the Heritage Room
5:30-6:30 p.m. -- Test Taking Seminar -- Preparing for the
GRE, GMAT, MAT and other tests, 204B Ferguson Center.
Or
5:30-8:30 p.m. -- Kaplan Practice Test: Students Take Free
Practice Test for the GRE, GMAT or LSAT. You must pre-register
by calling 1-800-KAP-TEST/1-800-527-8378 or the UA Graduate
School at 205/348-5922.
(Note: The above sessions are concurrent; if you are not
pre-registered for the Kaplan Practice Test, you should attend
the Test Taking Seminar.)
