Wenan Fei received the
2007 Ernst Meyer Prize:
Wenan Fei, who received his doctoral degree in economics in May from
the University of Alabama, received the prestigious
2007 Ernst Meyer Prize from the Geneva Association for the
best dissertation in risk management and insurance. Past winners include Christian Gollier, professor of economics at
the University of Toulouse, and Amy Finkelstein, associate professor
of economics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

- The
Geneva
Association was established to promote economic research in
the sector of risk and insurance. The prize is presented for
research work, usually in the form of a doctoral thesis, which makes
a significant and original contribution to the study of risk and
insurance economics.
