Through the University Scholars Program, Lindsay is working on her Master of Science in Finance while at the same time completing her undergraduate coursework. Upon graduation in May 2009, she will have earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. Her undergraduate triple major – finance, mathematics, and economics – will be a first for the College of Commerce and Business Administration.
Lindsay is very involved with the business school and around campus. She is vice president of the Commerce Associates, the ambassadors for the business school; active in the Business Honors Program as well as the University Honors Program; and a member of the Women’s Initiative Program. She is also active in her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta, and intramural sports. During tax season, Lindsay volunteers with SaveFirst, a group that prepares and files income tax returns at no cost for low-income families around the state. In the summers, she serves as a counselor at Alabama Girls State.
This past summer, Lindsay completed an internship with Merrill Lynch, and is weighing several options for after graduation.
