Kerry M. Cohen – College of Arts & Sciences

A native Floridian, Kerry graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a Master’s degree in American History. She is a doctoral student of the history of the American South in the History Department. Kerry’s dissertation will research the history of books in everyday antebellum southern life. She currently works as Editor of the Southern Historian, a graduate journal showcasing scholarship in southern history. Kerry also teaches an online course of American Civilization to 1865.
