William O’Donnell is pursuing a M.S. in Consumer Sciences with a specialization in Family Financial Planning and Counseling. He is completing his degree entirely online while living in Seoul, South Korea with his wife Rachel and son Finn. William has served in the Armed Forces for over 17 years, including three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is currently serving in the Army as a UH-60 Blackhawk Instructor Pilot and Instrument Examiner. William will take his final class, CSM 560, in the fall of 2013 and then begin studying for the CFP board exams. After retirement, he and his family plan to settle in Rochester, N.Y. There he hopes to begin working for a small financial planning company and earn his CFP certification as soon as he becomes eligible. William enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and scuba diving and has been afforded the opportunity to visit numerous countries and experience many different cultures.
