Zachary Wahl-Alexander – Human Performance

Zachary Wahl-Alexander is pursuing a PhD in Human Performance with a concentration in Research. Zachary graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in physical and health education. After finishing his masters, he decided to stay at UA to continue his coursework in the Kinesiology Department. Zachary has worked on numerous research projects and has presented at several national conferences. Recently, Zachary secured funding for and started a Tornado Recovery program at the Tuscaloosa Magnet School. This program integrated physical activity and somatic and psychological stress reduction techniques during an 8 week program. After graduation, Zachary hopes to begin working at a major research university somewhere in the southeast.
