Jessica Babin – Marketing

Jessica Babin graduated from Samford University with a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in French in May 2008. Upon graduation she worked as an Au Pair in Paris, France. After returning to the United States she was employed at IPS Corporation in Collierville, TN as the Sales and Marketing Administrator and as a Research Analyst for New South Research in Birmingham, AL. Although Jessica considers her industry work experience worthwhile, she sees herself moving into academia. After completing the M.S. in Marketing degree she intends to continue at the University of Alabama and pursue a Ph.D. in Marketing. Her ultimate goal is to become a professor of Marketing at a leading research institution and to make significant contributions to the field of academic research. Additionally, she desires to give back to future students by sparking their interest in marketing and serving as a mentor.
