You already have what it takes to be successful. But it takes more than grit and ambition to make a lasting difference.

The University of Alabama elevates you to meet your potential. We have invested over $2.9 billion in our students and research facilities – and that’s just the beginning.

15 UA faculty and students received Fulbright awards last year.

27 of our current faculty have won prestigious NSF CAREER awards.

46 UA researchers are included in the National Academy of Inventors.

Cutting-Edge Equipment

We empower our students with the same top-level equipment they will use in their careers.

Visionary Colleagues

Our growing and diverse community of scholars overcomes local and global challenges.

State-of-the-Art Facilities

We lead interdisciplinary initiatives and research in UA’s world-class facilities.  Our laboratories and study spaces are second-to-none.

Superior Funding

With more than $25 million awarded last year, nearly half of our graduate students received funding to further their educations and reward their accomplishments.
