Alauna Reckley is a first-generation Ph.D. student in the School of Social Work. She has experience teaching and being a mental health and substance use counselor. She graduated with her BSW from Florida A&M University and her MSW from the University of South Florida. Her research interests are individuals with disabilities and the child welfare system.
She hopes to one day go into academia to teach and mentor students during their educational journey while continuing her research work.
