Alicia Ingargiola is a fourth year PhD student in the Health Sciences department on the Health Education and Promotion track. She earned her Bachelor of Science in athletic training from UA in 2014, graduating with honors and went on to secure a graduate assistantship at the University of Iowa working with the men's and women's tennis teams. Alicia decided to return to UA to pursue doctoral study in the hopes of beginning a career in academia. She was named the Southeast Athletic Trainers' Association 2018 student research grant award winner. Alicia is a native of North Brunswick, New Jersey and enjoys spending her free time playing soccer, reading, and cooking.
