Dalis Lampkins is a PhD student from Gleason, TN. She is currently majoring in American Politics with minors in Public Policy and Administration and International Relations. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin. In addition to serving on the Graduate Student Association Executive Council, she is a member of the Blackburn Institute, the Judicial Board, and the XXXI, and she serves as the President of the Political Science Graduate Student Association. She volunteers with Reading Allies and is an Assistant Team Leader for the Education, Advocacy, and Training Team for the Center for Service and Leadership. She is also a graduate teaching assistant in the Political Science department. She hopes to become a professor or work in policy after graduating with her Ph.D., and she is especially interested in education policy, reproductive health policy, rural development, and First Ladies.
