Higher Education Administration
Douglas Craddock, Jr is a native from Abbeville, Alabama. Currently a Doctoral Candidate in Higher Education and Administration, Douglas functions as the Program Coordinator for the STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) and Entrepreneurship Academy housed in the UA Office for Community Affairs. SEA provides opportunities for High School students to be exposed to STEM from a practical hands-on classroom learning experience. In addition, Douglas works as the Coordinator for The My Brother’s Keeper Initiative for West Alabama. Prior to returning to complete his Doctorate, Douglas was employed by Alabama Power and Southern Company Services as a System Analyst and Project Manager. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from The University of Alabama and Master’s degree in Information Engineering and Management from The University of Alabama - Birmingham.
