Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering
Ifeanyi Okpala is an international civil engineering doctoral student from the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He specializes in construction engineering and management, and enjoys collaborating with other students and faculty as a teaching/research assistant. Currently, he holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering from The University of Alabama.
He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Relationships and knowledge gained from these bodies add to his valuable work experience in construction, facilities management and the petroleum (downstream) sector.
Ifeanyi is passionate about helping prospective students gather information about graduate admissions. He is available year-round to offer assistance throughout the application process, through enrollment at the University and during transition onto campus. At the Graduate School, Ifeanyi also serves as a Graduate Teaching Fellow, and a peer mentor in the UA Tide Together Mentoring Program.
