Ifesinachi J. Ezugwu is a graduate student from Nigeria. Currently, he is pursuing his doctorate in Educational Statistics and Research Methods (ESRM) at the University of Alabama. He is a recipient of a Graduate Council Fellowship from the University of Alabama graduate school. He holds a Master's in Educational Research, Measurement and Evaluation, and a Bachelor of Science in Science Education, both from the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN). Due to his outstanding academic performances, he was employed as a lecturer to teach in the Department of Science Education at UNN prior to moving to the United States.
His major research interest revolves around the use of multilevel statistical techniques in predicting students’ academic achievement and using the outcomes of classroom assessment to inform effective teaching and learning at all levels of education.
As a part of his profession, Ifesinachi is an active member of different professional organizations such as the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Educational Assessment and Research Network in Africa (EARNiA), Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN), and Association of Educational Researchers and Evaluators of Nigeria (ASSEREN). Ifesinachi looks forward to research collaborations in the field of Education, generally. His hobbies include teaching, travelling and catching up with his family and close-knit friends during his leisure. He also enjoys playing chess and scrabble games at his free time.
