Jennifer Baggett is an Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics doctoral student from Gardendale, Alabama. She holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from the University of Alabama, Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Psychology, and Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is also working toward obtaining her pilot's license and eventually commercial pilot certification.

She has served as a laboratory teaching assistant for Mechanics of Materials and Aerospace Structures courses as well as an instructor of record for Fluid Mechanics. Jennifer is involved in the Student Government Association, Graduate Student Association, Graduate Society of Women Engineers, and the Advisory Council on Wellness. She also is a contributing writer for the Crimson White and serves as a Graduate Teaching Fellow. She currently serves as the Vice President for Academic Affairs of the Graduate Student Association. Jennifer is also a member of various professional organizations and participates in several volunteer organizations.
