Jillian was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She has a Bachelor of Science in political science and a second Bachelor of Science in human services from Kennesaw State University. During her time at KSU, she engaged in volunteering, was an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, and worked full-time serving adults with developmental disabilities. After graduation, Jillian was employed as a senate aide for the Health and Human Services Committee at the Georgia State Capitol. Currently, she is working as a post-closing paralegal for a real estate law firm in Atlanta.
Jillian's story at The University of Alabama began in Fall 2018. She is a current Master of Social Work student, following the distance-learner track. Her focus is children, adolescents and their families. Additionally, Jillian was recently accepted into the coordinated Master of Public Health program at the University of Alabama – Birmingham. Her focus is health behavior, and she is eager to begin studies. In her spare time, she enjoys being with friends and family, traveling, binge-watching anything good on Netflix and building her collection of concert tickets.
