Nana Afia Tenkoramaa is a first-generation international graduate student pursuing a master’s degree in Communication Studies. She currently serves as a co-Vice President for the Graduate Communication Assembly and a Graduate Research Assistant with the Commission on Race, Slavery, and Civil Rights under the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Nana obtained her bachelor’s in Communication Studies from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, and has over four years of experience in journalism, corporate and digital communications. She is interested in the intersection of communication and sustainable development and aspires to build a career in development communication after her degree.
Nana is honored to serve as a graduate ambassador and looks forward to sharing her experience and supporting prospective students on their journey to UA.
