Taheerah Mujahid is a first-generation doctoral student and Capstone McNair Graduate Fellow in The University of Alabama Graduate School College of Education, Educational Leadership Ph.D. program. She received her Master’s in Public Management from Johns Hopkins University, and her Bachelor's in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
Taheerah was born and raised in Northern California, where everything happens for a reason. She is a meditation teacher who is well-versed in stress management, stress reactions, and the effects of stress on the mind and body. She has a solid knowledge base and 25+ years of experience assisting individuals in identifying the stressors in their lives. She is interested in creating an original groundwork for academic students' stress management to provide student life without the adverse effects of everyday stressors.
