Teairra Evans is a fifth-year Ph.D. student studying Cognitive Psychology. Originally from Atlanta, Ga Teairra earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Women’s Studies from the University of Alabama. Broadly, her research focuses on decision-making and aging.
During her time at The Capstone Teairra has served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Graduate Research Assistant. Most recently she was awarded The Community Engagement Fellowship for her research on cognitive interventions for African American adults with diabetes. Teairra is passionate about actively engaging in with communities and creating partnerships that are mutually beneficial.
