Mr Vamsi Krishna is currently a doctoral student at The University of Alabama. Before this, Mr Vamsi received his Master of Technology in Aircraft Propulsion from Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) and a Bachelor of Technology from Amity Institute of Aerospace Engineering, Amity University.
His research focuses on low-emission gas turbine technology compromising fuel flex combustion systems, alternative fuels, fuel-elastomer compatibility, and combustion processes. He also investigates novel combustion and fuel injection methods for gas turbines.
He is an active member of global engineering communities such as the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS). In 2022 he served as Secretary for the Student Advisory Committee (SAC) of the ASME International Gas Turbine Institute. His hobbies include aeromodelling, reading and travelling.
