Raised in Beaumont, Mississippi, Victoria earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Mississippi, where she was honored to participate in several opportunities including the Ronald E. McNair Program, Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation Programs, National Society of Black Engineers, Pi Mu Epsilon and National Math Alliance. Beyond enhancing her character, these programs allowed her to do research abroad, earn awards and travel.

Currently, Victoria is a third-year Mathematics doctoral candidate. She is a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Math, where she tutors in the Math Teaching and Learning Center and teaches various undergraduate courses. Victoria is interested in statistics and data science with potential social justice applications or technological advancements; she hopes to encourage diversity in STEM careers by entering industry after completing her doctorate.
