Mission

Crimson Odyssey supports the personal and professional success of all graduate students through a comprehensive curriculum focused on establishing a culture of mentorship based on mentoring and mentee competencies that transcend disciplines. 

Vision

Crimson Odyssey will position The University of Alabama as a leader in graduate student mentorship. Every graduate student's educational journey will be enriched through purposeful mentorship that contributes to their professional, academic, and personal growth. Crimson Odyssey will cultivate a vibrant reciprocal community for graduate faculty and students to establish Crimson Odyssey as an exemplary holistic mentoring program that empowers graduate students to thrive and achieve their lifelong pursuits.

CRIMSON ODYSSEY PROGRAMMING

CRIMSON ODYSSEY FELLOWS

Odyssey Fellows serve as the front line in the delivery of mentor and mentee training at UA. They are experts in facilitating the delivery of the Crimson Odyssey curriculum.

ODYSSEY NAVIGATORS

Odyssey Navigators are faculty who have participated in training facilitated by the Odyssey Fellows. These faculty are committed to being the best possible mentors they can be for graduate students and have completed training on all five of the Odyssey Core Competencies.
