Program Description
- Conduct research in collaboration with UA faculty in trending research areas such as sports media, marketing, race and ethnicity studies, political communications, public relations, and others.
- Learn how to present in multiple formats such as podcasts, stand up reporting, and academic or industry presentation panels.
- Gain experience using state of the art equipment in UA’s labs and Digital Media Center.
- Learn valuable research and presentation skills related to communications and information sciences to take your career preparation to a new level.
- Acquire the skills needed to analyze and present data like a true professional.

Eligibility Requirements
- 2.5 GPA or higher
- Completion of public speaking course
- Interest and curiosity in communications and mass media
- Statement of purpose should demonstrate your interest in communication and information sciences and include relevant media and communications experience (i.e., built a website, made a video, started a podcast)
