Stillman College/The University of Alabama
Through the Stillman College / University of Alabama Accelerated Master’s Program (AMP) partnership, exceptional students can earn BOTH a bachelor’s degree from Stillman College and a master’s degree from the University of Alabama in 5 years.
The Accelerated Master’s Program Partnership (AMP2) between The University of Alabama (UA) and Stillman College (SC) is similar to the Advanced Placement (AP) program that allows high school students to earn college credits.
Through the SC / UA AMP2, SC students can earn up to 12 credit hours of graduate coursework that will count towards both their SC bachelor’s and UA master’s degree programs.
SC students enroll in graduate level UA courses during their senior year giving them an EARLY START on select UA graduate programs.
Eligibility Requirements
- Current enrollment as full-time student at Stillman College
- GPA: 3.70 or higher
- SC students are eligible for admission into this program upon the completion of 90 credit hours of coursework towards their SC degree programs.

Finances and Funding
- SC students who meet the above eligibility requirements do not have to pay UA tuition for the graduate level UA courses taken during their senior year of undergraduate studies at SC.
- Students are eligible to receive UA Graduate Assistantships, or fellowships and scholarships awarded by Graduate School (including Research Assistantships and Teaching Assistantships), upon completion of the Bachelor’s degree at Stillman.
- A limited number of fellowships and assistantships are reserved specifically for the SC / UA AMP2.
